Who We Are

Amanda Moss

Owner, Clinical Director

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor

Registered Yoga Teacher (500)

Pema Chodron says that when we start a journey towards healing "we often think that somehow we’re going to improve, which is a subtle aggression against who we really are." I work to come alongside you as you start your journey to understanding yourself as you are now. Typically, any change that needs to happen is a step out of your comfort zone. That step can be scary, but it is essential to growth. I combine mindfulness with traditional therapy approaches from a trauma informed lens to help connect you to your inner knowing. It's time to fully step into your own power and grab what you want and deserve out of life.

Isabelle Sarno

Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate

I obtained my BA in Psychology from American Military University and my MS in Professional Counseling with an emphasis in Trauma from Grand Canyon University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) through the board of Washington as of 2022.

I specialize in clients who experience depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, domestic violence, grief, and trauma.

I believe that therapy is a team effort between the counselor and clients. For the greatest success, the client needs to be motivated to create change and the counselor needs to bring an empathetic approach and provide the right tools. I will be using a variety of different therapy models for my clients such as Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy to achieve the best results.

In my free time, I value spending time with my husband and four children. Due to our
love of nature, my family spends a lot of time outside exploring and engaging in backyard activities. I have recently picked up an interest for plant cultivation and am proudly nurturing the family’s houseplant Al Pacino who is alive and thriving.

      Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Hi, I’m Jenn, a licensed mental health counselor passionate about helping teens, young adults, and adults navigate life’s toughest moments. My work centers on supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and burnout. There’s a special place in my heart for those of us who are in the process of peeling away the expectations and beliefs we have carried through the years that no longer feel congruent with who we are inside. Whether this stems from neurodivergence, religious trauma, sexuality/gender identity, or feeling “othered” for any number of reasons, you don’t have to continue feeling stuck.

I understand that living in a world not built for your brain can feel exhausting and isolating. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood—a space where your experiences aren’t just valid, but valuable.

As a neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist, I approach counseling with warmth, curiosity, and respect for your unique identity. Whether you’re untangling old patterns, learning new coping tools, or simply figuring out who you are and how you want to live, we’ll work together to uncover a path forward that feels authentic to you.

If you’re ready to explore, heal, and grow—at your own pace—I’m here to walk alongside you.

I work with people of all ages using Adlerian play therapy as a Registered Play Therapist™, and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My passion areas are grief, trauma, and multi-racial identity issues.

I became a therapist after volunteering as a children’s grief group facilitator for 15 years, where I found that walking together with hurting people was my ikigai – the thing I can contribute to the world that also brings me joy and fulfilment. My clients have said they get an encouraging, playful vibe with me, and that they feel accepted and appreciated, no matter what.

I am a Japanese-Danish-Bohemian American with roots in Hawai’i, born and raised in Spokane. I earned a Bachelor's in Chemistry and Religion from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, in 1999. (I do not work from a religious basis in therapy, but am skilled at supporting all beliefs and religions my clients hold and/or want to incorporate in their therapeutic work!) In 2003, I earned a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Colorado School of Mines before doing a 15-year side quest in the worlds of snowboarding and skydiving. I earned my Master's in Counselor Education in 2021 from the University of Central Florida and moved back home to Spokane in 2024.

A quote by Alfred Adler guides my life choices and my work with clients: “Follow your heart but take your brain with you.”

        Meri Hipperson

        Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Your story matters; let's write the next verse and chorus together.

Hi, I'm Meri! I’m passionate about helping people build lives that feel more manageable, meaningful, and hopeful. I work with teens and adults (12+) navigating addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. These challenges can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, healing and growth are possible.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Eastern Washington University in 2014, followed by a Certificate in Addiction Studies from Spokane Falls Community College in 2018. Most recently, I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Capella University in 2023. I have been a Substance Use Disorder Professional since February of 2020 and a fully Licensed Mental Health Counselor since March of 2025. Together, these experiences have given me both a broad and specialized understanding of human behavior, systems, and the healing process.

In the therapy room, my approach is collaborative and flexible. I draw from CBT, DBT, REBT, and person-centered therapy to provide clients with practical strategies while also creating space for reflection and growth. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I keep therapy grounded and approachable: I offer structure and support while also bringing warmth and compassion into each session.

Outside of my professional life, I’m a coffee-loving PNW native, a singer/songwriter who enjoys creating music and performing within the community, and a proud cat parent of four. I believe in showing up authentically so that clients feel comfortable bringing their full selves into therapy as well.

If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to navigate life’s challenges and strengthen your ability to move forward, I’d be honored to work with you.

        Kaela Fry

        Mental Health Counselor In Residence

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Washington University along with working in the mental health field for over three years. I am a Counseling Intern working under supervision while pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University.

I believe that while we don't always choose the experiences that shape us, we do get to reshape the messages we received from them. In my experience, I have found a deep appreciation for a person's story. Seeing that healing can be done in listening to and honoring a person's journey. In doing so, I have created a firm belief that all people are oriented towards being known. Whether that be in a desire to find purpose in their lives, build relationships, or form their identity.

As a counselor, I pull from Narrative, Experiential, and Person-Centered theories to holistically address the individuality of each client. I believe that the whole person matters, and wellness encompasses each part of the individual. I have background working with individuals coming from different cultural backgrounds, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and religious beliefs. I work well with people who are motivated towards change and work well in collaboration. In my experience I have seen hurt so often occurs in relationships, while through them we also find the strength to heal. I believe we are not meant to navigate life on our own, making it my goal to come alongside you and help you to take hold of the life you would like to live and who you want to be. If you are looking for the support to grow in your identity, ability to cope, and navigate life, it would be my privilege to be let into your world and walk with you towards your goals.
